4. No Livestreams for Illenium

Illenium

Illenium is a name every EDM fan knows, but it’s also one that won’t see featured on the lineups of any virtual festivals this year. The US DJ has been working hard on his third album, Ascend, and took to Facebook recently to tell fans why he’s saying no to livestreams.

“The main reason is because I don’t have a new amazing show to showcase and ascend just finished and that’s online everywhere. I’m loving how supporting the community is of the other artists doing streams but I’m really focusing on music right now and saving the live experience for our first time back together in a proper setting. Couldn’t be more stoked on the music I’m currently working on thought!! Lots of dope stuff to come! Love y’all.”

5. Happy Mother’s Day! Diplo Welcomes Arrival of Third Son

In a post to Instagram, the DJ revealed that King—a former Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago— gave birth to their son, Pace, during quarantine. The post also featured photos of Diplo’s own mum as well as his ex-girlfriend Kathryn Lockhart, the mother of his sons Lockett and Lazer.

"Thanks for giving me life and helping me create it — the three strongest mothers in the world”
