Insomniac to bring their nightmarish festival to Asia for the first time.

Escape: Psycho Circus is the horror-inspired festival that's been hosted in San Bernardino, California every year (excluding 2013) since 2011. Taking place just around the corner from Halloween, attendees can revel in the creepy atmosphere whilst their favourite DJs play EDM, house, electro house, drum and bass, techno, hardstyle, dubstep, trance, and more.
The growing interest in EDM and associated genres across Asia has sparked a number of large-scale festivals to expand to the region, just look at EDC, Ultra and Transmission. This year marks the first time that Escape: Psycho Circus has moved outside of Southern California and continues Insomniac's global takeover, with Founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella issuing a statement saying, "The ability to bring the Insomniac experience to a new city is an honor and a privilege”.
“We’ve been very fortunate to host EDCs across the world, and I can’t wait to introduce Escape, Beyond Wonderland, and other Insomniac experiences to our friends in South America, Asia and soon across Europe. This is just the beginning.”
Korea's Inaugural Escape
For the Korean edition, Insomniac teamed up with Korean events company EDM&Co, the same people they worked with for the EDC Korea debut. As to the time and date, Escape: Psycho Circus Korea will be held at Seoul Grand Park on the weekend of October 25-26. According to the website, guests are invited to "Dance among freaks, geeks, fortune-tellers, contortionists, and a host of bizarre characters who haunt this place".
The lineup thus far is made up of Galantis, Jauz, Kaskade, Kungs, Marshmello, Seven Lions and Slushii, with more to be confirmed at a later date. Tickets will go on sale at FestGround.com shortly, so keep your eyes peeled for any news or updates.
