Ultra Europe first hit the shores of Croatia in 2013 as 2 day music festival, but due to its success it swelled rapidly to become the 7 day Destination Ultra extravaganza that it is today. Destination Ultra runs from the 11th to 17th of July, with the Ultra Europe festival itself occurring from the 12th to 14th. The week long hedonistic celebration promises to embody all the things that the brand is known for and more: colossal crowds, cutting-edge stage designs and a multitude of the biggest names in electronic music.
With now just less than a month to go until Ultra's European summer getaway, there's no better time to introduce you to the variety of events that will be unfolding over the week.
July 11- Resistance Split Opening Party
The event kicks off with an opening party presented by Ultra Music Festival (UMF)’s techno/house brand RESISTANCE. Hosted at the waterfront Hemingway Bar in Split which offers unbeatable views of the breathtaking Dalmatian Coast, there’s no better way to start your holiday and Ultra experience.

July 12,13,14- Ultra Europe
From then on it’s full steam ahead, as day two sees the launch of Ultra Europe at Split’s Poljud Football Stadium, located just down the road from the Hemingway Bar. Ultra have pulled together an absolutely ridiculous amount of world-class acts for this year's show, with headliners set to include Swedish House Mafia, Above & Beyond, Afrojack, Carl Cox, The Chainsmokers, David Guetta, DJ Snake, Rezz, Steve Aoki… The list just goes on and on.

July 15- Regatta Party
After a weekend of solid partying, it’s time to start island hopping! Beginning with the Regatta Party at Club 585 on the idyllic island of Brač, here is your chance to witness some of Croatia’s finest DJ’s up close whilst taking in all the beauty that the location has to offer. Brač is most known for its stunning Zlatni Rat beach nicknamed the 'Golden Horn', which is lucky because that's exactly where the Regatta Party will be held. The island is home to many picturesque towns perfect for exploring, with the nearest one to the event being Bol- a haven of winding streets, harbourside bars and restaurants as well as perfect windsurfing conditions.

July 16- Ultra Beach/Resistance Hvar
On the 16th it’s time to hit up Hvar, where you can dance away at Ultra Beach as the sun sets over the glistening Adriatic Sea before following the festivities into the night at RESISTANCE Hvar. The island is a favorite for celebrities and tourists alike and is a stone's throw away from the Pakleni islands, ideal for snorkeling or kayaking in the crystal clear water. The party happens at the Hotel Amfora Grand Beach Resort, situated in a tranquil bay and yet just around the corner from a bunch of other great nightlife spots.

July 17- Resistance Vis Closing Party
Finally, make sure you end your experience the right way, by getting down and dirty to some techno at the Resistance Vis Closing Party which will take place in a 200 year old fortress! Fort George was built by the British in 1812 to fend off Napoleon, but nowadays it's been converted into an iconic destination for parties and weddings. Elsewhere on the island you can find infinite caves, beaches and delicious food to keep you occupied. The perfect location to wrap up a perfect week.
