Over the weekend, Proximity and Brownies & Lemonade linked up to bring us the most impressive livestream festival to date. Digital Mirage Online Music Festival took place from Friday (April 3) to Sunday (April 5) and boasted an incredible lineup featuring more than 50 of EDM’s finest, such as Alison Wonderland, Don Diablo, Kaskade, Seven Lions and Slushii.
Besides offering some much-needed entertainment for fans stuck at home, the festival aimed to raise $100,000 in donations for the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, a non-profit that helps out musicians facing financial difficulties.
“Sweet Relief Musicians Fund provides financial assistance to all types of career musicians and music industry workers who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems. In other words, Healing Musicians in Need. We all have received so much out of music, it's time to give a little back!”
Proximity Hints at Digital Mirage 2
After obliterating their goal just 14 minutes into Day 2 of the festival, figures show that Digital Mirage amassed over 4.1 million streams and raised $300,000 for Sweet Relief— three times the original target.
Following the show’s success, Proximity started to hint at a second edition less than twenty-four hours after the first had finished, prompting a huge response from fans on social media.
Check out the list below to relive your favourite sets from the festival. Proximity have announced that they will be uploading all of them in full to YouTube in due course, so we’ll keep updating as they’re released.
