Sydney and Melbourne will welcome the worldwide festival brand back next year

Ultra first broke onto the scene in Australia with an introductory Road To Ultra show in 2018. Due to the overwhelming response from fans, in 2019 the festival was upgraded to Ultra Australia: a full-scale show featuring the brand's intricate stage production, blazing pyrotechnics and electrifying atmosphere.
Taking place in Melbourne and Sydney, Ultra invited some of the most influential names in dance music to perform across three stages, including the UMF Radio Stage as well as the house/techno haven Resistance. Illenium, Marshmello, Martin Garrix and The Chainsmokers were just a handful of the acts that the 40,000+ attendees flocked from far and wide to see.
Just earlier this week, organisers announced that Ultra will be heading down under once again in March of next year. The Sydney show will be held at Paramatta Park on Saturday 7th March, whilst the Melbourne edition will be on Sunday 8th March at Flemington Racecourse. Although the lineup is yet to be released, crowd numbers are already estimated to reach around 50,000.
Regarding the announcement, Ultra Australia Project Manager Travis Grech expressed his excitement for next year's show.
The iconic Ultra Music Festival remains the biggest and most successful music festival brand in the world. Together with the global team, we strive to deliver a unique, first-class music festival experience with stand-out production at premier venues. We are excited to bring ULTRA Australia back in 2020.
